🌟 Success Story Spotlight: Jeremy's Journey with Springdale Job Corps! 🌟

Meet Jeremy, a testament to the power of perseverance and hands-on learning! From bouncing around Utah, Idaho, and Oregon, to overcoming academic challenges and job instability, Jeremy's path was anything but conventional. 🛠️

Jeremy’s experience-based learning style didn’t fit the traditional classroom. “I didn’t really like school. I had a hard time learning only from books,” he shared. Dropping out at 16 to gain work experience, Jeremy found himself in various entry-level jobs but faced barriers without a high school degree and certification.

That’s when Jeremy turned to Springdale Job Corps and embraced the Autobody Repair trade. Living off-campus while earning his GED and trade certification, Jeremy quickly excelled. “I didn’t know how important my GED was until I completed it. I gained confidence after finishing high school and am happy I did it.”

His dedication and work ethic paid off when he was selected for a paid internship with Gresham Ford. Impressed by his skills, the team offered Jeremy a full-time position within a month! “He is a phenomenal worker,” said Cher Marlowe, Director of Parts and Services. “He gets along with all the staff and is motivated to learn.”

Jeremy credits his instructors, Randall Ramsey and Matt Sullivan, for their unwavering support. “They helped me every step of the way. I appreciate them so much,” he said.

We’re thrilled to see Jeremy’s success and proud of his achievements! His story reminds us of the impact that determination and support can have. 💪
