This September, Emily Drew, renowned journalist and professor of English at Davidson College, visited Singapore through the U.S. Speaker Program. While there, she shared her experiences as a journalist, discussed U.S. presidential elections, and examined the evolving media landscape. Partnering with the U.S. Embassy Singapore, she joined a Singapore Press Club panel to address the escalating threats of , deepfakes, and the widening divisions among voters during election campaigns.
