Today, July 16 2024, we observe the first-ever National Latinx Older Adults HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This observation is led by the Latino Commission on AIDS. In addition to uplifting older adults in the Latinx community living with HIV/AIDS, this day honors the legacy of Dennis DeLeon, whose tireless advocacy and contributions have made a lasting impact on the Latinx community.
