I am a great starter and always have a million ideas but commiting to a final draft of something is a humbling feat. Each of the paintings are between 5 and 90 per cent finished already. So my choice of which painting is chose is often decided by how much energy I have coming home from my museum job. It is sometimes practical.

On January 1 of this year as part of my Soar in 2024 vision, i decided to try to finish one painting per day in order to stay focused on progress, hone my skills, stay away from the news, and have a stack of 366 works on paper by the end of the year. I plan to donate what i can for humanitarian in my community and in the world and that keeps me motivated. Currently available. I have to give credit to Richard Pousette Dart for his influence on my work. I never intend it, it just is revealed sometimes.

Zoning out creatively is a very healthy thing to do, especially now. Drawing and painting take all of my attention and teach me that sometimes small decisions can change everything. .
