Spring 2021, Short Play Festival will premiere 6 new plays, which are written by Deaf playwrights and will be done by all Deaf creative team, crew and actors.

Still looking for more scripts!!

We have decided to push our short play festival to the summer 2023 to allow more time for playwrights to submit a short script.

So you have until Dec 31st to submit your scripts!!!
Interested?

Write a 10 minute play set in an alleyway, with 2-5 characters. It can be any genre: comedy, drama, suspense, mystery, romance, horror, email [email protected]!!!

If you want to submit but are unable to make the December 31st deadline, shoot us an email and we can talk!!!

“Beautiful Boy” will be directed by Tyler DeShaw. Tyler grew up participating in the Deaf Youth Drama Program led by Howie and Billy Seago. A Seattleite born and raised, Tyler is thrilled to return to his roots.

You will learn about comedic acting, dramatic acting, improvisation, as well as technical theatre skills such as set design, costume design, stage management, lighting design, and many more skills!

James Caverly explains how he, as a Deaf man, relates to the con-man Harold Hill in this intimate and revelatory video. James is selling instruments and band uniforms to the citizens of River City in our production of "The Music Man" through July 24.
