Y’all I love to design. I really do. The only thing I love more than designing stationery is my family and french fries. And if you ask my family they’ll tell you it’s fries first and then them lol. But you get the drift. I LOVE what I do. It’s a way to express myself that doesn’t happen with my day job. Two different parts of my brain for sure! Anyway I design and I hope but I don’t always have expectations that my work is going to resonate. So it’s always a heartfelt happy dance with a fist punch in the air when it does. And boy am I happy dancing peeps! My design Modern Arch will be on sale soon
Is there such a thing as a Hallochristmasgiving?? Halloween candy is still on the counter but suddenly I've gotta find my turkey baster, my boozy gravy recipe, and get my ornaments in order. New tree. New me. hahaha. If you've seen my Christmas trees you know what an epic adventure in over the top goodness that means.😍 Anyway, I feel like the holidays are coming in a little hot right now but since we're here... before the gravy gets me and I'm lost in the ornaments... I've got a cute holiday card for sale to share with you. It's called Gilded Frame. Available in "GOOLD" and a host of other pretty shiny colors!
Christmas isn’t exactly around the corner but it’s always a good time for big, bold statements of “Love, Peace and Joy”. Another one of my favorite entries into this year's holiday challenge.
Alrighty, all the Halloween decor is finally put away and now it’s time for my other favorite time of year. The Holidays! Right now, we’re in that sweet spot of just before waaayy too much pie (sweet potato not pumpkin) and a gloriously fat Christmas tree, drooping under the weight of all the ornaments I can’t stop buying. This year we’ll be missing a face and that makes me sad but I’ll be hanging a special ornament to remember the love, the laughter and the joy that sustain us. I’m also working to get myself in gear for holiday cards… gathering the tribe in one spot for a photo has been like herding cats so we’ll see how it goes. Doing better than me and already got photos in hand? Welp, if you do… consider this cutie Candy Stripe shown in red foil. Now available
I'm a weirdo. I LOVE Halloween. Not the gory, bloody, murderous stuff but I dig a good creep. I mean gimme all the mysterious spook, a glass of witches brew and I'm one happy camper. So while some may be counting the days to Christmas, my calendar is set to October 31st. Actually it's set to September 28th for a little Hocus Pocus! I don't know about you but "I smell children!"
Hoping a proposal is in the air for 2022? Have a peak at my newest save the date “Hitched” now . Available in 6 classic colors to match any wedding palette.
Here’s to 2022 actually being a new year and not just 2020 part three. This year may joy find you, laughter lift you and love guide you. Happy New Year my friends!
I just had a birthday. A big one. You know the milestone kind - where the candles can’t possibly fit on the cake without it being a fire hazard kind. I was feeling a little shell shocked and maybe not quite so sure I’d managed all my life goals just yet. The hubs assured me that two beautiful, smart, well- grounded children later and that I could call myself a Minted artist, I’d probably not done the worst. Plus he said it in the sweetest way, at dinner, in a garden, under an arbor covered with greenery and twinkling fairy lights while I ate birthday dessert. So I was feeling like maaaybee I’d done alright. My kids are amazing and I am incredibly proud to call myself artist. Every year Minted’s holiday catalog features pages of gorgeous artists work. I’m incredibly humbled to say this year I’m one of them. I think it’s safe to say it’s been a better than good birthday y’all.
I’m sentimental. I’m the one you’ll always find struggling not to break into tears at the drop of… well pretty much anything. I think that comes out a lot in my work. I love finding a sweet sentiment or caption that might not seem like much but somehow FEELS like everything. I hope my card “Joy to World” for gives all the feels this holiday. Use code MERRY21 and enjoy 15% Off Minted Holiday Cards. Ends today.
A little early to talk Christmas cards I know. I mean I get that it’s not even the end of October but some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups - that you may or may not chose to stash away from the trick or treaters - and some holiday shopping is a solid evening. Just saying. So if you’re a planner like me, you’re already thinking Christmas. Gearing up for the holidays always fills me hope, love and joy. A sentiment you can choose to share too this year with my “Dash of Hope” holiday card. It’s one of a couple in my new collection at and available in several ink colors.
