Historically, the Vigil was an all-night service when new believers were baptized, and the church welcomed Easter at midnight with joy and celebration. While our service won’t be all night, we will use word, image, symbol, silence, and song to experience the last hours of the burial of Jesus, re-enter our own baptisms, and welcome Easter with gladness and feasting.
