Arts@Rez is excited to host Andy Squyres on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7:30pm! Doors open at 6:45 pm.
Tickets at link in bio!

Andy Squyres is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Santa Cruz California but after moving east in the late 1990’s, he’s spent the last few decades carving songs out of the foothills of his North Carolina home. Heavily influenced by the poetics of Leonard Cohen, Squyres leans heavily into the lyrical tradition of artists like Bob Dylan, The National, and John Mark McMillan, having a passion for words that are equally worshipful and honest.

His live show is ache on display, a joyful protest, at once humorous and tragic, weaving together songs and tales of heartbreak and hope, tragedy and comedy.

You can check him out at andysquyres.com and listen to his music on Spotify.

Volunteering is at the heart of our church life together.

Ultimately, it’s a picture of what God calls us to…

A life of service.

While we are grateful every week for the volunteers that support our church life and ministry, we are taking this Sunday to shine the spotlight and say THANK YOU🙏.

When we serve the Lord faithfully together, we build his kingdom.

We cannot say thank you enough!

We serve a great God - a mighty King who himself was the greatest of servants.

He washed the feet of many.
He ate with the outcast and with sinners.

What a joy to serve one another in his church using the gifts He has given us!

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies - in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” - 1 Peter 4:10-11

Rez photo dump alert!

…it’s been a busy few months here at the church:

•Our building has been under constant renovation. By the Fall, we hope to have completed major repairs for the windows, roof, and HVAC.

•We said farewell to the Wilcoxen family, who we miss dearly already (they’ve safely arrived in Sydney!).

•We are preparing to welcome the Rodriguez family later this summer - Jacob will be our newest pastor at Rez. Please continue to pray for them ahead of their arrival.

•Rez Groups re-launched!

•As we continue to settle into the building, our weekly volunteer teams are returning. If you haven’t signed up to serve on our children’s ministry, music, A/V, altar guild, greeter, or hospitality teams, don’t hesitate to reach out.

•The Lord continues to bless our church with many new faces each month! If you are new, we encourage you to get plugged in to a Rez group, ministry, or service team.

•You may have heard that we are asking again for contributions to the building fund. We ask that you give generously to this fund through the end of the year as we continue to make Rez safe and comfortable. Follow the link in bio to give!

Lastly, if you haven’t been to church in-person in a while, we would love to see you. Come worship with us!

This is the night of which it is written: the night shall be as bright as the day...

At this time last year, we had hoped to gather together in vigil and prayer (and in person) as a broader community of God’s people to hear the record of His saving deeds in history.

A year on, and we are still separated to varying degrees. We are tired, and we are longing for good news, and brighter days on the horizon.

Our Easter Vigil this year represents our best efforts to gather, collaborate, and celebrate, as a global community of believers, all clinging to the light of Christ that has brought grace, peace, and joy into the world.

Join us tonight at 7:30pm (on YouTube) for a special service of Easter Vigil!
