Wishing everyone a Safe and Happy Independence Day

The Washington Salvation Army will be hosting their Annual Back to School CARnivals! Come celebrate the start of the 2024/25 school year with us! These events are drive thru fun for families in need of help with Backpacks and School Supplies. All children must be preregistered to attend and must attend at the time slot the family picks at registration. The games and activities are all done through the car window. The last station is picking out their new Backpack and School Supplies. Families in need of help with Backpacks and School Supplies are encouraged to make sure that we are your closest location by calling 724-225-5740.

This is open for children in Preschool-12th grade attending school in person. We have a seperate event for those going to cyber school or homeschooling.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During Child Abuse Prevention Month, we use the blue pinwheel to serve as an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.

In 2008 Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign. The pinwheels represent childlike whimsy and lightheartedness and the vision for a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities.
