K9 Browser
Browser is an Electronic Detection K9 who is part of the Lake County State's Attorney's Office Cyber Division. His handler is Carol Gudbrandsen.
Browser is trained to sniff out electronic devices that serve as evidence in many cases.

Browser is loving his new daycare... Central Bark in Gurnee. He has lots of friends there!!
Browser's paws are affected by the ice and salt. These are the best boots we've ever used. They open at the top for easy on, and snug up nice to stay on. We've done several mile walks and they've never come off.. even in the deep snow... And as you can see he loves the snow!!

Browser and his handler Carol just finished up a presentation to the FBI Chicago. During the presentation, Carol and Browser did a demonstration of locating multiple hidden devices around the room.
Browser got to show off his skills, and his awesome nose! 📱
On October 27th, Browser assisted the Libertyville Police Department on a residential search warrant for child po*******hy.
Then the next morning, October 28th, Browser assisted the Waukegan Police Department on another residential search warrant for child po*******hy.
Keep up the good work, Browser!
Browsers not only good on his search warrants, but he can help out around the house too! His e-collar for the electronic fence at home broke. The electronic portion was lost somewhere, and it could have been anywhere in the yard or woods near the house. His handler, Carol, brought out his food pouch and brought him out in the yard to work… and he found it! It’s a win win, because it was good practice too.
Browser and his handler, Carol, presented to the lead homicide investigator class at Schaumburg Police Department on October 8th. Browser did a demonstration to show the detectives what a great nose he has! 📱
On September 9, 2021 Browser was called in to assist on an ICAC (internet crimes against children) search warrant on a residence. Check out Carol & Browser in action!
Browser did it again! On Friday, September 10th, Browser and his handler Carol Gudbrandsen assisted the Lakemoor PD on a home search warrant for child po*******hy. Browser indicated with 100% accuracy on the devices he located. A total of 37 digital items of evidence were recovered by Law enforcement & Browser’s assistance. All times are pending forensic analysis by the Office of Lake County State's Attorney Eric Rinehart Cyber Crimes division.

Today we hid devices and practiced in the new court tower! Browser is on his A game 📱⌚️💻
Here are some photos from training today. As you can see, there is a microSD card in the photo. These are as small as a finger nail. They may be small, but they can be crucial pieces of evidence in cases. Some microSD cards can even hold up to a terabyte of data. Browser laid down right next to the microSD card and indicated.
We train with Browser daily in different environments with different digital items to keep him alert.
