Hey ladies!

TONIGHT @ 6:00 pm!

In order to spend time with our families, your MOMSnext leadership is taking time off of social media effective December 21-January 2. We will have some scheduled posts intermittently, but if you need to reach us before January 2, please call our host church office.

No meeting (or child care, except for elementary kids) tonight, but the MOMSnext room will be open from 6-7 if you want to hang out for a bit and chat or play games. :)

When my oldest was in elementary school, I was a single mom in a fairly new community, desperate to find connection with other moms. It was HARD! I have a hard time walking up to people and making small talk. I am often considered "different" and just couldn't find my footing. I now have another in elementary school, and the desire to connect with other moms of kids my kids' ages is still there. And I *still* struggle with it. I will absolutely talk to someone who talks to me, but it is hard for me to walk up to another mom at the park or playground. I will, however, happily greet you at our MOMSnext meetings. I would love to meet you and get to know you this year, as we learn to walk in power, love one another, and make love our legacy. There is a team of fantastic people who have put together a welcoming space for us to meet and a great group of women looking forward to meeting all the moms who want to join us tonight. We would love for you to join us.

We will be meeting the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 6-7:30 pm. And if you need a safe place for your students, we have you covered! If you want to join, and have younger ones, too, please message us and we will be sure to have care available. We have some fun things planned for the year! We hope you will join us!

Now that my kids are 7 and (almost!) 5, MOMSNext is exactly what I need. We aren’t in the chaos and wonder of new motherhood, but there’s still “mom stuff” that I haven’t gotten to yet. My kids are getting more involved in their own school or sports, and this has been a way to expand my circle that’s not just about them. MOMSNext is a place where I know there will be other women who can enlighten me, and I’ll have the pleasure of helping them out when the time comes. (a MOMSNext Leadership team member)

We are meeting downstairs at Wenatchee Church of the Nazarene (by Wenatchee High School) from 6-7:30 and child care is available for your kids elementary age and younger.
