BookFest | Write on the River The Write on the River October BookFest is a daylong event organized for northwest authors and small presses from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho to meet readers and each other. A place to promote and sell your book(s), to connect with fellow authors, and to chat with readers.

If you need a place to cool down.

It's going to get ridiculously hot over the weekend -- possibly 110 or higher is some parts NCW. Please remember that all of our library locations serve as cooling centers during regular open hours.

POETS: Airline Press is excited to announce their open reading period for full-length poetry manuscripts by poets in the Pacific Northwest.

From July 1st through July 31st, 2024, they will be accepting submissions of full-length poetry manuscripts from poets residing in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska) who are willing and able to commit to a three-year term of doing the shared work of running a collective press. Accepted manuscripts are published in the second year of the three-year term. Entries are accepted via Submittable.

We are actively seeking diversity in our publishing list.
