On Friday afternoon, I and two of my District 5 Advisory Board members, Grace Coyne and Rachel Thomas-Murphy, took a guided tour of Wichita Public Library's Westlink Branch, which is undergoing a major renovation and expansion. Also joining us on the tour was our Wichita Fire Department Chief Elizabeth Snow. This library renovation/expansion is an exciting project for our district! We will add community meeting rooms, study spaces, a drive-up window, an expanded children's room, and updated technology. Thank you to our Director of Libraries, Jamie Nix, for giving us a behind-the-scenes tour.
