W continued its Professional Development Series today with Norm Duncan, Ph.D., Adjunct Professor at Newman University & Tabor College. The discussion included a dive into emotional intelligence, where we learned to recognize emotional strengths and weaknesses and discover practical ways to improve emotional skills. Congratulations to our 2024 Summer Fellows Program participants.

The six-week course kicked off last night. The program helps interns gain skills needed for the workforce and connects them to the Wichita community through networking, professional development and volunteer opportunities.

18 W volunteers participated in When Everyone Leads at the Kansas Leadership Center. We’re looking forward to sending more people through this program in 2024 thanks to the Leadership Transformation Grant!
