Wichita Pride has been blown away by the incredible artistic expressions we've received for our Button Design Contest, themed "YOUnited with Pride" for Pride 2024!

In the spirit of embracing more creativity and ensuring everyone has the chance to contribute their unique touch, we're extending the submission deadline to Monday, January 29, 2024! 🎨✉️

So, if you haven't submitted your art yet or if you're eager to refine your design, you now have until January 29 to make your mark. We can't wait to see the amazing designs that continue to pour in!

Choose either the round, 3.5” diameter button or the 3” by 2” rectangular button format
Ensure your design is legible when silk-screened onto various materials.

Today, November 8th, we honor our intersex siblings on this Intersex Day of Solidarity/Remembrance. We stand in solidarity with those who have been subject to discrimination and the human rights abuses that intersex people face internationally. We remember those whose lives were cut short due to such discrimination and abuses. We strive to build a community that is accepting, especially of how one another is born.

We all deserve to be accepted by others as our authentic selves. Coming out can be scary as much as it can be liberating, so we encourage it to be done when, how, and if YOU want! All of our love and support for coming out journeys- past, present, and future!

Want to make an impact on Wichita Pride 2024? We are calling on the community for suggestions for next year’s theme! We want to know what is important to YOU about Pride! Past years themes include Community Pride (‘18), Five Decades Forward (‘19), Be Seen in 2020 (‘20), Rainbow Resilience (‘22), Looking Back, Moving Forward (‘23). What will define Wichita Pride 2024? Use this Google Form link to give us your ideas that celebrate unity, diversity, and of course pride! If your theme is chosen you will receive two new Wichita Pride T-Shirts and four buttons that grant access to next year’s festivities! Please use the form as we will NOT be looking at the comments for suggestions. We look forward to seeing your creative ideas!
