Meet Jackie, co-owner of our 3 Wilmington Area locations! 👋🏽

Jackie started off her journey with Cape Fear Seafood Company as a part-time bartender in 2014. During that time she was also working as an Office Manager for a small construction company.

Fast forward 4 years later, Evans (CFSC Founder) had opened up his second location in Porters Neck and his third location in Leland which presented an opportunity for Jackie to be promoted to General Manager in Monkey Junction.

“I remember after closing, walking through the empty restaurant and locking the door behind me all while thinking to myself, “This is mine to take care of,” feeling so proud and determined to not let Evans, Eddie (Co-Owner of 3 Raleigh area locations), or my staff down.”

Almost two years in that position and the company was growing yet again.

“I enjoyed a good, full year in that position when Covid hit and all of our lives changed drastically. The year 2020 was full of constant change and having to rethink how we did everything.... However, I like to think it paid off because, by the end of the summer, Evans presented me with an opportunity of a lifetime. He was ready to give up ownership of his three restaurants to focus just on the brand and franchising side of the business. He asked me, Bill Scott (the Corporate Chef), and Porters Neck General Manager, Mike Harris if we were interested in taking over ownership of his three restaurants. With everything that had happened that year, the idea sounded absolutely crazy. However, we accepted and as 2021 was coming to an end, the three of us became the new owners of the three Wilmington-area CFSC locations.”
