Behavioral consultation provides guidance, training, and treatment plan development for the individual's ISP outcomes. Consultation occurs amongst all service providers and the client in a hybrid mix; we will see you virtually and in-person. No prescription of set amount of hours per week, create a flexible consultative schedule with your expert-level consultant.

Authorization for Therapeutic Consultation also allows the behavior consultant to assess the individual for assistive technology and environmental modifications to be covered under the DD Waiver.

Why does Old Town ABA exist, why did I start it? I believe in my mission and will fiercely defend it!

I started OTABA with my intention to combat challenges I faced in the field and wanted to make it better for other BCBA's who wanted the same flexibility in work/life balance, a larger focus on good, meaningful work, developing lasting relationships with clients and professionals in the field, and stepping away from big ABA business in general. I just wanted to create a better way to ABA.

With that said, Old Town ABA seeks to further create relationships with BCBAs across Virginia with this same mission. Rolling interviews with Old Town ABA start May 2024 and run through June 2024! Old Town ABA seeks an expert BCBA who wants to disseminate therapeutic consultation further across the state. (Please live in the state of Virginia with at least 1 year experience as a BCBA). What ages do you serve? Literally any age! 0-100 years old!
Where do you serve? Virtually all over Virginia, but our in-person service range across the Shenandoah Valley, Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg/Stafford, and Prince George/Rappahannock Area.
Do you take Medicaid? We take DD Waiver, but not CCC+ plus Waiver at this time.
Do you have a waitlist? Dependent on location and needs- some locations have NO waitlist.
Do you have an office/clinic? No, our services are implemented virtually and on-site (homes, day programs, group home, school, etc.) in a consultative manner across caregivers and providers.
