QEA celebrates Memorial Day. We also honor the Black veterans who started the tradition.
The 55th Massachusetts Colored Regiment gathered in the streets of Charleston S.C. on Feb. 21, 1865. Union soldiers who advanced into Charleston, most of whom were members of the 21st United States Colored Infantry, were welcomed by the formerly enslaved celebrating their freedom.
Our Seniors were welcomed by a roar of cheers from peers and family during College Signing Day. Join us in celebrating our scholars, because that is how we do at the Q!
