Thank you to the staff at Miracle Heights Adventures and the NC Youth Outdoor Commission for hosting 23 6th-10th graders who either attended 7 of 9 Saturday Academies this year OR met a Lexia goal! Today we learned about the importance of working together as a team, problem-solving, active listening for safety instruction, and helping each other. Phoenix Family! This was a day to remember. ♥️

Congratulations to two of Prep’s finest…Ms. Davis (Bachelor of Inter- disciplinarian Studies from Elizabeth City State) & Ms. Currence (Masters of Education in Leadership from Salem College) who both graduated this week! We are so proud!!! 🩷

🗳️📚 Attention high school scholars! Voter registration will be available in the cafeteria during lunch this Friday, the 10th, and next Friday, the 17th! 🎉✨ Don't miss out on this chance to make your voice heard in our democracy. Here's what you'll need to bring for North Carolina registration:

You must be 18 years old on or before November 5, 2024, to vote. Persons may also preregister at ages 16 or 17 but will not be able to vote until 18.

Identification must be presented that includes the last four digits of a social security number, driver’s license, or another picture ID.

Faculty and staff can also register if they have not already done so or moved within the last six months.
