As my time with Anytime Fitness comes to an end, I’m reflecting on the incredible growth and opportunities I’ve had over the past five years.
Talking with clients, colleagues, and members this week has brought up so many reminders of the connections we’ve built and the mutual impact we’ve had on each other.
The relationships, challenges, and shared wins have shaped not only my career but also who I am as a coach and a person.
Being part of this community has been a true privilege, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
A special thank you to Anytime Fitness for giving me this opportunity, and a huge shout-out to everyone who has been part of this chapter.
I’m grateful for every moment and for the environment that’s allowed me to learn, grow, and serve others.

Take a quick minute, and ask yourself what does healthy mean to you?
Is it being stick thin, and starving yourself from the things you enjoy?
Or is it having balance in life?
More of us need to rethink our fitness, and align what we want out of life, and our gym routine!
It’s totally ok if you want balance..
. to enjoy foods in moderation without tracking your calories and macros, while also working on your strength and conditioning.
It’s totally ok if you want to get ripped or extremely muscular too…
. just know what it takes to get there!
A lot of stress in our fitness journey occurs because the things we want, and the things we are willing to do are out of alignment!
Ps.. A coach can help you allign your goals and your behaviors!
Here’s your friendly reminder that you probably don’t need a new diet this week…
You need more consistency, and more patience!

Be sure to spend time today preparing for the week.
When Monday comes, you should feel recovered, and ready to crush it!
My plan? A bit of Intentional recovery work at the gym, and some light power training!

The only time you TRULY fail is when you decide to not try at all!
It may take you, 1 try, 5 tries, 100 tries, but so as long as you never quit, you will eventually get there!

Healthy Recipe of the Week!
Cool Cucumber Salad 😋🥒
- Thinly slice 3-4 cucumbers, 1/2 of a red onion, and place in a container or bowl
- Add salt, dill w**d, and seasoned rice vinegar (or a mixture of white vinegar and sugar) to taste.
- Enjoy!
Cover when putting in the fridge. It gets better and better the longer it rests!
Get yo a** outside and MOVE!
Rain, snow, or shine, I aim for a MINIMUM of 15 minutes of outdoor walking per day (on top of any normal training I do).
Fresh air, Vitamin D ☀️, and it keeps the pup from driving me crazy 😂
The health benefits speak for themselves!
Besides, we have to enjoy this weather while we have it, right!?
If you do ANYTHING today, make a PLAN!
For your workouts:
- Know how many days you’ll train
- Know what you plan to do on those days
- Know of a backup plan if something goes wrong!
For your nutrition:
- Plan your meals around your schedule!
- Plan what you’ll eat, and when!
- Plan how you will overcome those challenges and cravings!
For your recovery:
- Plan your rest days
- Plan for a nighttime sleep routine
- Plan your warm-up’s and cool downs!
If you can plan most things on this list, you’ll be successful this week.
Planning is an incredible way to overcome those challenges, and takes any excuses away.

Today’s the day you do the things you told yourself you’ll do!
Do you have pain or tightness in the hips, low back, or even in your shoulder complex?
It’s typically an indicator of dysfunction ELSEWHERE in the body.
Simply stretching the low back, hips, or shoulders will not address or fix the issue.
It’s important to figure out where these issues are coming from, and finding an actual movement based treatment plan to address the issues.
Strength training is so important not to just get stronger, but to also FEEL good, MOVE good, and live a high quality of life!
It’s not about the failures you face.
It’s about how hard you can stumble forward, despite the challenges in your way 💥

You can be skinny, and in TERRIBLE health
You can have giant muscles, and have little strength
The way you look, has nothing to do with your true health outcomes!
Focus on developing habits, and the rest will come!
