Do you know the difference between a cardiac arrest vs. heart attack?
⚡️ A cardiac arrest is an "electrical" problem: the heart goes into an erratic rhythm, cannot pump blood and stops beating entirely.
💧 A heart attack is a "plumbing" problem: the heart’s blood flow is slowed/ blocked, but the heart keeps beating.

Car seats protect children in a car, but aren’t designed as a safe sleep location. Always remove your sleeping infant from the car seat when you arrive at your destination. Place infants on a flat, firm safe sleep surface to finish a nap.

With colder weather here we have been getting a lot of questions about snowsuit/jackets on while in the car. Having a snowsuit/jacket on your child adds thickness between the harness and your child. Thickness of these layers will compress when in a collision. When layers are compressed this makes the straps too loose. If the straps are too loose, harness straps won’t be able to hold a child in the seat properly causing increased crash forces causing more injury or harness not being able to hold them in the seat at all causing ejection. Any questions please feel free to message us at [email protected]

Big kids need a booster seat, even on the spookiest night of the year. Use a booster seat until the adult seat belt fits your child, with the lap belt snugly across the upper thighs and the shoulder belt across the shoulder and chest.

Costumes and car seats can be a scary combination! While big muscles look cool and fluffy dresses are fun , but they don't belong in the car seat. Large, bulky costumes introduce slack in the car seat harness, putting your child at risk for possible injuries. Please wait to put the costume on until you reach your destination. Enjoy your trick-or-treating safely!
Which is safer – using a seat belt or LATCH? Both methods of installing a car seat are equally safe as long as the installation is done properly. Check your vehicle and car seat owner’s manual for instructions and/or more information.
