We were busy this weekend at the annual meeting of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons! Two podium presentations (wireless pressure ulcer sensor and opioid use postop), one poster (ethics and global health) and Professor Janice Lalikos was the keynote speaker at the inaugural Women's Luncheon

Dr. Wone Banda's month with as our international scholar has flown by...we had a rigorous academic exchange and she is bringing new techniques in limb salvage, complex craniofacial care and breast reconstruction home to her patients in Malawi. And she enjoyed our snow! Thank you for the support!

Wone completed her plastic surgery training in her native Malawi with operative rotations in the UK and Mexico City. is supporting her month long observorship here as an educational exchange that helps Dr. Banda expand her clinical expertise for her patients in Malawi.
