They will apparently need to make a decision of we don't find a home soon!

1st home was an apartment! 🥺
Her current home (of a few weeks) is not suited to her very specific needs!

She is very loved but she needs someone with her during the day..... & night, until she feels a lot better about.... well everything really!

And she will need a furry companion at home or will need to attend doggy daycare at some point, to enjoy other furkids! 🐺🐕🐶

We did include them in a post a little while back, but we needed to focus on Buddy & Breezy at that time as they had a deadline 🌈

We asked the surrenderer (who contacted us in September), to pls keep them until we could find an adopter or even a lt foster. We explained how much Huskies suffer in the wrong environment.

We were told that they were moving 2 families into one home, that the Huskies were fighting with the other dogs & the fights were becoming more damaging!

We were given other info but at this stage we feel that with the right family & situation Malakai & Anoushka could be great!

Next we saw, they had been dropped at a shelter. 🥺
Then a post saying they were going to go to a wolf sanctuary. Then a post saying a home presented itself in Cape St Francis. Yayyyy!
Then they pulled out.... Boooo! ☹️.... & now they are still sitting at the shelter!

We are working with Sheena, to network these beauties & find them a home!

So, once again, we turn to all of you, to help us help Malakai & Anoushka!

We need to get them into a home with an amazing family, urgently! Please!

We are still taking in & vetting applications. This is a very necessary & important part of our process! ✨️ Especially with this beautiful breed!

We are saddened by the number of people that respond & don't follow through, & by those that apply & have no clue about this breed or its needs!

All animals have very specific care needs!
Pls do the reading, as they are all sentients & deserve to be treated & treasured as such ♾️❣️

The intro over the weekend went well & we are awaiting the applicants decision! ✨️❣️🤞🏻🏡

Taking another life into yours, is a huge responsibility! It should not be made in haste, without doing the homework & without 100%commitment! 🐾👣♾️❣️

Please do not put up your hand if:-

◇ You have no clue, experience, knowledge about Huskies or the breed of dog you're homing! Do some homework!

◇ You have not read our post/s info properly ..... & after we spend our precious time & effort on your application, you then say you actually want a young pup, not the 11 & 12 year old you contacted us about ....& your budget now doesn't allow for them!

◇ You, Your partner or other household members are not part of the decision!

◇ Someone all of a sudden has allergies, doesn't want to deal with fur, doesn’t want the furkids inside/to be part of the family or will not let the furkids sleep inside (where its safer for them & you)

◇ You are not prepared to complete our application form .... which is required before intro, home check process or we provide more info on our rescues!

◇ You are not prepared to give them the best life, which includes but is not limited to, a lovely home & garden, daily walks, outings in nature & on the beach, trips to pet friendly restaurants, events & holidays!

◇ You're a keyboard warrior (aka waste of our time)

◇ You're not a true animal lover!

◇ You can't answer the simple care questions we may ask you, to try to find the right, most amazing home & family for our rescues! ❣️

Cape Town, but we can rehome in SA to the right family & home!

In spite of a deadline & their imminent PTS's, no permanent family or home presented for Buddy & Breezy..... 💔🥺

At the 11th hour, a wonderful Foster 🥰 put up her hand to give us a reprieve of 2 weeks, in which to find a home for Buddy & Breezy.

We had to move fast! We had to do all our normal safety checks (applicants deets & home check), get our foster agreement done, then arrange an intro with their gorgeous furboy to ensure all would be ok.

It went very well & Buddy & Breezy are safe & being spoilt & getting lots of attention, whilst we continue our urgent search for their new home & family!

Please everyone, THIS IS A SHORT TERM FOSTER!
WE NEED a home by 14 November please! ♡

It is still critical we find this gorgeous pair of golden oldies (11 & 12 years young) a home asap.

We have a report from the vet giving both boys a clean bill of health.
They are sterilized, chipped, vaccinated, groomed & sooooo ready for their adopter!

Yes groomed & vaccinated 2 weeks ago, in spite of the possibility of going over the 🌈bridge!
