Unite against the MONC now! 🇿🇦
We have worked too hard to get City of Tshwane back on track. Been part of Cilliers Brink team previously, I can vouch for his hard work, dedication and he will not hold himself up with petty party politics. The man has one goal and one goal only, and is to make City of Tshwane a place that works for ALL that lives in it.
Action SA as a coalition partner has lost their moral compass with their move to push for a Motion of No Confidence with the ANC and the EFF to run the City.
Let's support Cilliers and his team. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers as tomorrow will be a very important day. No political party can be more important than the Citizens it serves.

Tshwane spent 96 % on all capital and operational grants and subsidies: Salute to my colleagues, you are changing Tshwane as we speak.
Cilliers Brink
Again the DA shows how we can redcue and change this country:
📌 The DA is putting KZN residents first! The new Finance MEC, Francois Rodgers, has halted all luxury travel for the province's politicians after discovering R1 billion was wasted on hotels and travel in the past year.
In a province faced with dire poverty, infrastructure decay, and declining service delivery, this reckless spending is unacceptable. The savings will be redirected to essential services for the people of KZN. The time for decisive action is now!
As expected. We will continue the fight against exorbitant electricity prices
DA calls for clarity on electricity tariff determination after NERSA admits to a ‘mistake’ in applying the law Please find attached a soundbite by Kevin Mileham MP. The DA is calling on the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) to provide urgent clarity on its electricity tariff determination methodology following the regulator’s shocking admission that the ongoing electricity affordability cri...
DA minister's hard at work
🔍 Taking action to root out corruption! Minister of Agriculture, the DA's John Steenhuisen MP, has launched a probe to get to the bottom of the missing R500 million grant allocated to the Onderstepoort Biological Products (OBP), a crucial entity for producing animal vaccines.
🚨 The DA is moving for Justice Minister Thembi Simelane to appear before Parliament over allegations of receiving a “loan” linked to the VBS Bank scandal during her time as Polokwane mayor.
Given the glaring conflict of interest, the DA demands full transparency and insists that the National Prosecuting Authority carries out its mandate without any bias, ensuring justice for the victims of the VBS looting, who were robbed of their life savings and suffered greatly due to corrupt politicians and officials.

💡The DA has taken the fight against Eskom’s unjust 40% increase to Parliament.
Citizens should not have to choose between filling up their cars or keeping the lights on. The increase will be unbearable, join us in this fight by signing the petition at https://stoppowergrab.da.org.za
Today in Tshwane Council we will see the true colours of the ANC. Today we will see how truth will triumph lies. Good triumph over evil. The DA will continue fight the good fight and ensure we continue with the good work we started.
Today Cilliers Brink and the Coalition partners will defend our democracy and fight to the bitter end. We have you in our prayers and thoughts.
I'm a very proud South African !!!
🇿🇦 Congratulations to Kgothatso Montjane on winning the women’s wheelchair doubles final at Wimbledon this Sunday! South Africa is proud of you. Continue to inspire us all with your incredible talent and determination.
🇿🇦 The DA's Minister of Home Affairs Dr Leon Schreiber has taken decisive action to reinstate the Immigration Advisory Board.
Where the DA leads, we will advance and expand cooperation, increase transparency and bring in expertise, to benefit South Africa.
We will not allow the expropriation of property without compensation. We will defend the Constitution.
The claim that Section 25 of the Constitution is a barrier to land reform is not true. Parliament has already rejected proposals to amend Section 25.
Any attempt to re-open this matter will create economic instability. The DA will continue to defend Property Rights for all. 🇿🇦
So proud of my Colleagues at Tshwane.
🏆 The DA is pleased to celebrate the City of Tshwane’s achievement at the Municipal Audit Awards, where the city received accolades for improved financial management.
We remain committed to stabilising the City’s finances and ensuring improved basic service delivery for the benefit of all residents.
DA has a very clear position on the VBS scandal and information that came out this week.
📺 Watch as the DA's Deputy Chief Whip, Baxolile Nodada, outlines the DA’s action steps to address the VBS corruption and ensure accountability for those implicated.
As parliamentary representatives, we’re required to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. As a party for the rule of law, we're committed to fighting corruption and holding public officials accountable.
Wishing our Boks the best in their match against Ireland! Play with passion and show the world the true South African spirit! 🏉🇿🇦
And we only started
🚨 In a significant breakthrough, Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson, has exposed a staggering R300 million in cybercrime theft within the department. The DA supports the swift investigative action and the reinforcement of cybersecurity to prevent future crimes.
This is daylight robbery and will have a massive impact on the lowest income earners.
Mr Mayor your time is up!!! You have failed...
This is the position we take on impeached Judges been voted to the Judges Service commission

🇿🇦 The DA is proud to rise to the challenge & take our place, for the first time, at the seat of national government where we can introduce our track record of good governance, zero tolerance for corruption & pragmatic policy-making.
The most important task for this cabinet in the coming 5-year term is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of all South Africans, and to contribute to the continued development of one of the most resilient democracies in the world.
📰 "With the DA at the heart of a new multiparty government, South Africa is ready to write a hopeful new chapter that defies the odds once again." - DA Leader, John Steenhuisen
