'No new ideas, no innovation': Parties poke holes in Lesufi’s plans | The Citizen Members of the Gauteng legislature differed in tone but all the opposition benches agreed that Lesufi's plans fell short.

So incredibly honoured to represent today in the State of the Province Address 🙏🏽

For too long, the people in Gauteng continue to suffer under this failed state. The so-called Government of Provincial Unity lack in clever ideas and any future or forward thinking 🥱

The DA has a plan to grow the economy and create jobs! We pride ourselves on innovation and actual implementation! Only the DA can Rescue Gauteng!

Really excited to join the Gauteng Provincial Legislature 🙏🏽 I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve in the people in my home province. I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities but most importantly setting roots.

What an incredible 5 years it has been serving South Africa as a Member of Parliament. I loved every moment even those where I’ve cried, fought and clawed my way through situations.

I have learnt so much and have gained so much experience and most importantly confidence and belief in myself ♥️

I cannot wait for the 7th Parliament and my return for a second term 🙏🏽

Last week I did an unannounced oversight to the Moffatview Police Station. I went to see the Station Commander on a GBVF case and had a look at the Victim Empowerment Room. The VEP Rooms at SAPS is very important and serve the purpose of providing support and resources to victims.

Had a great time this past weekend in Ekurhuleni commemorating Human Rights Day. I will say it again, yes we live in a hard fought for Democracy but we remain an unequal society.

2nd gig for the day, I will be repping at a Town Hall this afternoon discussing the Q***r Vote.

Had my say today in the Human Rights Debate in Parliament, representing the Democratic Alliance

Waking up to no water is soul wrenching. This government does not care about basic human rights.

Also! We must not be held ransom or be beholden by the ANC mxm yes we have democracy but we are not free or equal under this government! Tsek

Being a resident of Gauteng, the water crisis is a violation of our basic human rights! I’m sick of it!

We need change 🙏🏽🙌🏽
