"Thank you you for recommending that I tour with Sarah. She was AMAZING and I would absolutely want all of our clients to tour with her or a member of her team if they have the budget. 100% worth it. She was passionate, professional, so knowledgeable and just a very interesting person to spend time with". Visiting tour planner from the USA ๐๐ โค๏ธโค๏ธ
Big birthday smiles from the guy in the middle who enjoyed more than one quart of Soweto Gold today. Happy times!
Thank you, Dieter. I loved walking with you all!
I Love Mandela is a new exhibition at The Marc in Sandton and is definitely worth a visit. Congratulations to .maswanganyi , Michelle Kruger, Lazetha Lotter and all the other contributors. The tapestry as well as the works made from coins and from Lego have an extraordinary effect of being unclear to the naked eye but easily visible when viewed through a cell phone or other lens. I don't get it, but it's very clever!
Such beautiful images, Kirsten! Thank you for spending the morning with me.
Haters gonna hate, but I absolutely LOVED the new Nelson Mandela exhibition at@themarc_sandton. Thank you to for the invitation. I'll be back with both international and local visitors to enjoy works by , Jane Mahkubela, Shepard Fairey and more. Lots of interesting memorabilia too. I'll post more tomorrow.
Tour operator Kirsten from Seattle thought was just wow! So do we, of course ๐
Now that the rain has passed, make sure you head to AndTicks this weekend. Yes is the brainchild of Vicky Ross and it takes place at 16 Jan Smuts Avenue every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until the end of November. Our Sunday guests were quick to snap up a pair of shoes from Felix at Retro Vintage before tucking into a delicious curry (washed down with a bottle of Chardonnay from ). Yum ๐!!!
A bad hair day for me ๐, but the wind did not deter my guests from Nando's UK, and a good time was had by all!
The Promise. It delivers. Catch it if you can.
The forthcoming Johannesburg auction at Strauss & Co. is a joy to behold. I particularly enjoyed viewing the feast of works by Preller, van Essche, Maggie Laubser and Sekoto, all beautifully positioned amongst works by the likes of Athi-Patra Ruga and Sam Nhlengethwa. Excellent curation by .ndimande and team. Congratulations, . I hope the auction is a great success!
Three Little Maids from Germany loved their walking tour of Braamfontein, from to and everything in between

Epic views for our epidemiologist visitor, an excursion to Soweto and an encounter with eminent judge Albie Sachs at Constitution Hill. An extraordinary day!
Gorgeous sunset after a busy guiding day โ
Buongiorno, Sarah. Our time with you yesterday was so precious. It's difficult to explain in words what I felt. Every word, every piece of information was like a ripple, a circular wave in water, where every sense was involved and captured. I could feel everything. You are such an amazing person and a great guide. The love you feel for this country is in every move you make, in the tone of your voice, in every perfect word you choose to use. And the energy you expend is immense. My husband said that yesterday he actually felt something he hasn't felt for a long time especially when you were speaking about human rights. We are so happy to have met you. You can really help us start a friendship with this city that will be our home for quite a while. We'll be in touch again soon for another unforgettable tour with you. Buon fine settimana e a presto. Grazie di tutto. B.
