Congratulations to all our new families who have accepted places for 2025. We look forward to meeting you all at our twilight orientation evening in November. An invitation will be sent out closer to the end of the year.

Our current families celebrated Book week with their children by visiting our Bushland space ( end of Pardin crt) for a book character hunt.

If we are playing at Kindergarten when you walk past, be sure you say hello. It is important for the new children to begin to get to know their new kindergarten too.

Bayswater North Kindergarten will be closed from Wednesday 20th December 2023 until Monday 29th January 2024.

Bayswater North Kindergarten acknowledges and celebrates National Reconciliation Week. We continue to explore how we can contribute to reconciliation in Australia and build respectful relationships with our families, friends and communities.

Over 4,200 children have been settling into term one at our 93 Y Kinders over the last few weeks. This has included 2 brand new kindergartens co-located with local schools in Newhaven and Drouin West.

Our teams have got off to a great start, with over 600 committed and passionate staff in our early learning services delivering free 3 & 4 year old kindergarten.

Today the children at Bayswater North Kindergarten will be acknowledging National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.

This years theme for children’s day is My Dreaming, My Future.

We would love to share and celebrate this exciting news with lots of new families.

One of the questions that we often get asked by prospective
parents is, 'what sets your kindergarten apart from others?"
One component of our kindergarten program that sets us apart from other kindergartens is our bushland ongoing excursions.
We are very fortunate to have a large bushlands area at the
end of the court where our kindergarten is located.
In terms 2, 3 and 4 we take regular visits to this bushlands area where
the children are able to explore nature without the intrusion of processed materials. Here we pay acknowledgement to the traditional owners of our land - the Wurundjeri people.
The children learn to treat the land with respect and care while exploring the animals and nature that live and grow there.

Families are very important in our community at Bayswater North Kindergarten. We take the time to get to know our families and we value their input and participation on a daily basis.
The educators would like acknowledge and thank our families for everything they do at the kindergarten.
