SAD NEWS.

With love in my heart and tears in my eyes, i post the sad news the the Brindabella Women group will no longer be operating.

Get ready, Canberra - Enlighten Festival is BACK from 1 - 11 March with the Canberra Balloon Spectacular on from 9 - 17 March! ✨

Come and experience the amazing Enlighten Illuminations and delicious food and drink at the Festival Hub from 1-11 March.🌮

Don't miss Canberra's own short film festival Lights! Canberra! Action! on 8 March, then see the legendary Hoodoo Gurus at Symphony in the Park on 10 March. 🎵

Celebrate our wonderful community on Canberra Day, 11 March,by joining in the Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run, then enjoy a day of entertainment in Commonwealth Park.🏃

Then turn your attention to the skies as the Canberra Balloon Spectacular takes flight from 9-17 March. 😍

SADLY Brindabella Women group will not be operating this Term. (Term 1 - 2024)

Due to not having a Committee to run and manage the Brindabella Group.

🧡We need:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer

🧡and:
Two General Members (position can be filled)
A program Co-ordinator (position can be filled)

The current president and vice president are happy to help with the transition: Question. As they don’t want the group to fold and want to still be apart of the future group.

BOTH current president and vice president are happy to fill in gaps when someone is sick or away - we understand things happen - we are they are not leaving - just need to step down due to family and health.

Movember is our time to unite. To take on mental health, su***de, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. And you coming along for the ride only makes us stronger.

Across the past four years, we have seen your messages and heard your requests. We are so excited to say we will light up the skies again with an incredible fireworks display in 2024!

The craft activity will be making a Spooky 👻 Halloween 🎃 sign
for your front door.
No tricks only treats at our event.

Self run community group providing women with young children an opportunity to meet regularly, do art and craft, exchange information and learn new skills. Holds creative sessions and invites guest speakers to interact in a casual, friendly and supportive environment. Child care is provided from 9:30am-12:15pm. Children are also welcome to stay with their mother if that is preferred.

the women worked out they are quite talented with a paint brush, as they completed there beautiful. canvas …..

certainly will be doing this project again sometime next term … great fun and many laughs shared.
