I finally recovered from the trip to Japan🙂‍↕️ Now it’s time to say THANK YOU to everyone who supported me for my first overseas event at 😘. Thanks for all the sweet comments and supportive encouragements. And, of course, thanks to those who bought my creations and treat them as treasures.🥹💕

😊This has been an amazing experience as a small business owner, artist, and maker. Although sales weren’t as high as I expected, the knowledge I gained is invaluable. I met so many talented clay artists whose attention to detail, quality, creativity, and technique are on another level. Their artisan spirit truly inspired me. Compared to their years of experience, I’m just a newbie, and there’s so much more I can improve.💪🏻

Also! Here are some tips for those considering attending an overseas event like in Japan:
⭐️ You will need a helper who can speak Japanese. Most event organizations can communicate with you in English for event information, but when selling to customers, Japanese is essential.

⭐️ Cash only or PayPal. Most card readers are not supported outside of Australia, so you can mainly accept cash, which is fine for the locals. PayPal is okay for some international buyers but not for the locals.

⭐️ Price Adjustment. The market environment between Australia and Japan is very different, so you may need to adjust your prices based on the local market. Given the salary rate difference, you might need to lower your prices a bit.

These are the last three dates we will be at the Rose St Market. If you want to shop our jewelry and crochet creations in person, feel free to come! ✨We will be leaving The Rose St Artists Market after January. The market has such a good vibe, and we love it so much! We will come back one day in the future.😭💖

After January, we will be taking a break from February 15 to March 20. Our online shop will remain open, but orders will dispatch after March 21. We will be back for our first convention of the year, The Gaming Expo (TBC).

I know you may be curious about where to find us if you want to shop in person.
