We would like to congratulate Sam Moran and Cindy Brodie on winning the Victorian Mixed Pairs for indoor bowls, well done to the both of you on such an amazing achievement, you both worked very hard and gave it your all throughout the competition. Go Burras!

Last night here at Keysborough Bowls Club we had the pleasure of hosing South Group vs Eastern Suburbs intergroup for the Indoor Carpet Bowls. It was a great night, we had 5 mats down with each association having 20 players. South Group ended up winning the overall. We would like to congratulate Jim Bullow’s team on getting best Eastern Team for the night and congratulations to Les West’s team on getting Best South Group Team for the night. Well done to all and good bowling for the rest of the indoor season.

Each Thursday night we have the pleasure of being the host club for the Indoor Carpet Bowls night pennant. We have teams from; Berwick, Noble Park, Springers, Narre Warren and Keysborough.

Here is some of the excitement that happens at Bowls.

This club wouldn’t be where it is today without the help of this incredible lady. She has dedicated so much time into this wonderful club and we cannot thank her enough for how much work she puts into everything. We are forever grateful for her hard work as She puts so much effort and time into all the bowls events and corporate functions we have throughout the year along with all different things she does.
We really appreciate her dedication and again a massive THANK YOU.

We would like to say a massive thank you for all your work you both have put into this wonderful club since you both joined in 2000 & 2001.
We are forever grateful and thankful for all your work you both still continue to contribute around the club.

We would like to appreciate Charlie for 50 years of continuous service and friendships here at Keysborough Bowls Club. All the work and hours he puts in to help along with being a great bowler and a much loved Life Member.

Ben and Una emerged victorious in their 6th mixed pairs final, played under challenging weather conditions. They overcame the strong competition from Bev Williams and Alan Gibson in the last couple of ends, showcasing their determination and skill. The match was played in a great spirit and observed by dedicated members.

Today at Mulgrave Country Club we had Trent Harrop playing in the Novices Men's Singles.
Trent won his first game today but sadly went down in his second game, Such a huge achievement to make it into the last 16 for all of Victoria.
Keysborough Bowls Club is very proud of his achievements and we wish him well with his bowling in the future.

We would like to say Congratulations to Darren Young and Trent Harrop on entering the Novis Men’s Singles.
Darren went through and won his first game 21-10 but sadly went down in his second game 21-13. Such a great effort.

Trent went through and won his first game 21-17, He also won his second game 21-6 making him win his section. He then went and won the first round of the knockouts 21-9.
He is just about to start his next game which is being played at Mulgrave. We wish him all the best of luck and good bowling.

Update: Trent won his second game 21-4 in the knockout rounds and is now through to the last 32 which will be played at Mulgrave Country Club on Monday 13th May starting at 8:30am. Hope to see some members down supporting. We wish him all the best of luck and good bowling.

It's with a heavy heart that we inform the bowlers, past and present that Myrtle McKenzie has passed away this evening.

Condolences to the family.

Words from the family; She was a strength for our families, near and far, and will be sadly missed.

Wednesday night we had our McKenzie-Fordham Singles Championship. The cool conditions didn’t affect the quality of bowling, with a lot of the games going down to an extra end.
Well done to Carol and Rusty on making the final,
it was a great game with Carol winning by one shot.
Also well done to Andrew Adams on winning the minor section from Bob Steele also by one shot.
To finish the night Gloria provided her signature scones and cream, as well as party pies to warm us all up, so massive thank you to Gloria.

Friday night we have the pleasure in helping the wonderful people from Gre8 Capable Me. They are an after hours disability group. They all enjoyed having a bowl.gre8

Tonight we had the men’s pairs final, it was a close game with having an extra end played. Both teams bowled well but unfortunately there was only one winner.
Commiserations to Alan and Josh you both bowled brilliantly.
Congratulations to Aaron and Shaun on winning back to back.
