There is lots going on in the background to prepare for our MENPS Snowy Soirée. We are in need of some props for a choir performance.
Mrs Garbers would love any donations of clear umbrellas that are no longer used or needed.
If you have any you could spare, please drop them off to Mrs Garbers into the Music room 💕❄️
Thank you in advance
What a busy day for our girls and boys basketball team last Thursday both playing 6 and 7 games of basketball.
Our boys team had a great day wins, draws and a couple of losses. Most of all lots of fun. A big thank you to Mr Baker for coaching them for the tournament.
Our girls had a great day, comfortably winning all of their games. A huge thank you to Mrs McCluskey for coaching the girls. They will play in a division tournament early in Term 4. Well done to everyone
Our MENPS Olympics theme continues with students in Year 3 participating in the Maths Mini Metric Olympics.
Champions in 3K were awarded medals for paper plate discus, left handed sponge squeeze, cotton ball shot putt, paper straw javelin and big foot. While only some of us were winners, we all had fun competing and measuring using metric units.
Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our wonderful Principals.
Thank you for all you do to support our students, staff and families. We appreciate you💕
Mrs Seaburgh couldn't have picked a more perfect day last Tuesday for our whole school Olympics.
Students enjoyed the opening ceremony followed by sport activities both in classrooms and outside and finally a closing ceremony.
Classroom activities included a wide variety of experiences from learning dances from different countries to creating advertising campaigns to tour Down Under.
A very special thank you to Mrs Seaburgh for organising such a well run event. The students loved it!
Exciting news just in from the courts!
Congratulations to our girls netball team. Today they competed at the division tournament.
In a very close final they won by 1 goal. They will now compete at the regional tournament. 👏👏
Celebrating another fantastic achievement of one of our students.
During the holidays, Shivaa of year 5 competed in the Junior State Hockey Championships.
He represented the Southern Metropolitan Sharks Region. He played 6 games and his top score was 4 goals in one game.
Shivaa really enjoyed playing at his level and being a part of a team that played so well together. Congratulations Shivaa, we are so proud of you 🏑
Reminder
Our whole school Olympics Day is this Tuesday 23rd July.
The day will consist of students participating in an Olympic Opening Ceremony followed by two hours of sporting activities and two hours of classroom Olympic Activities.
Each class has been given an Olympic country for the day.
Please see the document below with each class and their country.
Students are asked to wear their countries colours. We ask that they wear clothes suitable for sport and everyone will need to be wearing runners for the day. This is not a free dress day.
Our Foundation students have swimming in the afternoon so we ask that they wear their full school uniform for the day and they will have a flag to represent their country.
The talent of our students are truly endless!

Their performance has earnt them an invitation into the 3X Cup Junior State Championship.
The boys will be playing on the 12th July, let’s get behind the boys and show them some support.
We certainly have a lot of talent at MENPS🏆
🌭🎉 Today's hot dog day at school was a hit! A big thanks to our fantastic volunteers who turned lunchtime into a hot dog festival. Your hard work elevated the humble hot dog to gourmet status, and the students couldn't get enough.
We couldn’t have done it without you all! Thank you! ! 🌟🙌
Today the Foundation students celebrated Milo’s birthday surprise for learning all the stage 1-4 sounds.
We had a wonderful parade followed by a word hunt, a special writing activity and some measurement activities that involved making Milo’s friends out of playdoh.
Look at all of Milo’s friends that turned up for the party! These are some of the cutest animals around.
Did you know MENPS offers a High Ability Program for our upper years students?

They say it takes a village and yesterday our village showed up!
It was an incredible turnout to our Grandparents and Special friends day. The children shared their classrooms and learning with pride.
It’s clear to see why they talk so fondly to their teachers about how special their grandparents are.
Again a huge thank you to our parent volunteers that provided a huge morning tea. What a beautiful community MENPS has.
More photos to come 💕
We are excited to have some very special guests visit our school tomorrow.
