Hello 2024 families!

We have an OPTIONAL kinder uniform if you are interested and are already starting to think about next year.

We will provide your child with a bucket hat at the start of the year and these will stay at kinder (except for washing).

2024 Kinder Families please take note of the following dates.

3 year old kinder:
Thursday 1 February
Small group interviews and orientation
Tuesday 6 February
3 groups of 10 attending for short sessions
Thursday 8 February
Normal full sessions commence

4 year old kinder:
Orientation and introduction sessions from Wednesday 31 January
Full sessions commence on Wednesday 7 February.

The weather is looking good for this Friday! We are looking forward to seeing all our kinder families for a fun night at the miniature trains!

We have our Open Day coming up on the 14th of May, we would love to see you there in preparation for the 2023 enrolment process!

The countdown is on! Looking forward to the miniature trains at 5pm, lets hope the rain stays away!

There are still some places left for families to join Croydon Gums for 2022, don't hesitate to book your tour.

Enrolments for 2022 are now open. There will be a choice of both short and long day sessions available. New families are encouraged to ring the Kinder directly to book a tour.

Due to the current lockdown restrictions, our annual Bunnings bbq fundraiser has been postponed.
Keep an eye out for a new date later in the year. Stay safe.

We regret to announce that due to the Victorian government restrictions imposed today, our open day planned for this Saturday will be postponed. Stay tuned for further updates!

This roster is up for the Bunnings BBQ. You’ll find it in the foyer.
This is the kinders best fundraising opportunity and we need your help!
All proceeds go towards resources for the kinder.
If you can spare a few hours please sign up now!

Our yearly Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser is around the corner!
We need as many volunteers as we can get to help out!
Please keep Saturday 12th June free.
There will be a roster going up in the foyer shortly for people to volunteer their time (2 hour shifts only).
We look forward to another successful year of fundraising with Bunnings!

Friendly reminder to our families that Cadbury fundraising money and/or boxes are due for return Friday 19th March.
Please place the money in the money box at the entrance to the kinder room.

Please support the kinder by taking one.

A friendly reminder that the carpark located opposite the kindergarten entrance (up the driveway) is reserved for the educators only.
This is to ensure the safety of all our children and families by reducing the amount of traffic in this area.
Please park in the street and abide by the parking restrictions.

Our first fundraising event is here!
The Cadbury chocolate drive is arriving just in time for Easter 🐣
We would appreciate your support in taking a box and selling (and/or eating) the contents to raise some much needed funds for the kinder.

Happy Easter to our families! Hopefully everyone has received their email regarding kids returning to kinder. We have had a few parents ask how many are planning to attend or take up remote learning. If you feel comfortable you can comment or discuss below . Please still reply to your survey email when your family has made a decision 😁

Thanks so much to all the volunteers and families who donated towards our Bunnings BBQ today! Great result with $2000 raised 😁

We are ready with hot sausages and cold drinks down at Bunnings in Chirnside Park today! Come down and grab a snag or two and support the kinder 🙂 tag your friends!

The council have been through this morning and changed all the signs to NO STANDING on the side of the road opposite Kinder from 8am -4pm.

Please make sure you check where you are parking as council officers will be out enforcing these new restrictions.

As some of our families may be aware, Best Chance has made the decision to cease providing services to Croydon Gums from Term 1 2021. We are one of a large number of kinders that have received the news. Rest assured that the executive committee, teachers, Maroondah council and Department of education and Training are actively working together to find a new Early Years Management provider for the 2021 year onwards, and the kinder will be running business as usual.
