Our Story

Learn lots of insights about early childhood development, and have lots of fun with this structured program that lays solid foundations for school years.
Gymbaroo is a structured program that develops growing childrens neurological, gross and fine motor skills to put them ahead in their stead for life!
Through specially designed sessions children will embark on exploratory, and most importantly fun sessions that will take them from specially designed equipment- slides, tunnels, ladders, swings and much more into a room filled with music, dance, massage, story time and all themed each term by a fun fun topic!
Sessions run for 45 minutes, and are divided in ages from 6 weeks- 3+. Parents accompany children in each class, and join in (having as much fun as their little ones), joining parents of children of the same age.
Classes are capped at 16 children, in ages divided by 3 month intervals to ensure tailored classes are optimised.
Gymbaroo requires teachers to have completed a three year tertiary qualifaction before being accepted to study neuro-physiological development and be trained as a Gymbaroo teacher. Teachers are expected to participate in regular professional development evenings and undertake ongoing study in neuro-physiological development of children.' Assistants are also expected to understand the fundamental rationale underpinning Gymbaroo's program and have sufficient understanding of neuro-physiological development to be able to contribute meaningfully to the session.
We welcome kinder/creche groups, play groups, mothers groups as well as individuals, we have Mum's, Dad's, Grandfathers, Grandmothers, Nannys, and just about everyone else in the family come along!
Join Graciela (qualified university lecturer, Ma. Linguistics (french), qualified dance teacher, certified and accredited Tiny Tots Dance Syllabus instructor) and Jacki (Qualified Early Learning Teacher), who between them have over 40 years of early childhood development experience!
