Due to maintenance works, the sauna at Olympic Leisure will be closed from 7am to 10am tomorrow, Tuesday 9 July.

The spa will remain open.

𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗

Due to unforseen mechanical issues within our plant room, all aquatic areas (pool, spa and sauna) will be 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 up to and including, Thursday 6 April.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘆𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻.

All Olympic Leisure members and visit pass holders will have reciprocal rights to use the aquatic facilities at Ivanhoe Aquatic during this time.

𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸

Many may wonder what is Ramadan?

The ninth month of the Islamic calendar is called Ramadan. For this month Muslims all over the world observe fasting (avoiding food and drink) from sunrise to sunset. The pre-dawn meal is called 𝘴𝘶𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘳, where Muslims gather and eat breakfast together. The evening meal after sunset is called 𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘢𝘳.

The significance of this month is that Muslims believe the Quran was revelled to the prophet during Ramadan. Muslims use this time to centre themselves and focus on personal growth and reflection. If you are not fasting, try being sensitive of the needs of those around you and be mindful to not offer food to those around you observing Ramadan.

Ramadan begins with the sighting of the new crescent moon, and ends with the following crescent moon. This year, Ramadan begins 23 March and will end by 22 April.

Starting next Wednesday, 22 March, we have an additional Mindful Yoga class.

Join Paul on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Fridays at 11:00am.

Taking the "work" out of workout, Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility.

Due to significant pool shell and structural concerns, unfortunately our small pool will remain closed and unavailable for use. We recommend visiting Ivanhoe Aquatic for recreation with small children.
