Interdental Cleaning 💚🦷🤓

Interdental cleaning is an essential part of taking care of your teeth and gums. Cleaning between teeth removes plaque that can lead to decay or gum disease. Pictured are three different types of interdental cleaning tools that we stock in all of our clinics.

Here at Simply Orthodontics we offer a private and calming environment to conduct our initial consultations✨

What happens during the initial consultation?

• The clinical staff will take photographs of your teeth and facial features. Your Orthodontist, Dr Jonathan Skilton or Dr Jason Yap, will then join you in the consultation room for a thorough clinical orthodontic examination. They will discuss with you your orthodontic concerns and treatment options as well as answer any questions that you may have.

• Your Treatment Coordinator will then outline the financial aspects of treatment including our generous payment plans

•At the end of your consultation with Dr Jonathan Skilton or Dr Jason Yap, you will be well informed about your orthodontic treatment options. At no point will you feel pressured to enter treatment and our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to answer any questions for you at any time!

• We understand that there can be a wealth of information to digest and that you may prefer to review all of this information at a later time. At Simply Orthodontics, you will receive a treatment plan and report, outlining the discussed recommend treatment options. This detailed plan will allow you to review the information presented at the initial consultation at your own convenience.

✨Metal Braces - These are made from stainless steel. Braces are able align teeth and correct your bite. Metal Braces are most common amongst children and teens as you can add fun colours to the brackets at each appointment!

✨Ceramic Braces - These are less visually prominent yet still have the same effect as traditional metal braces. A misconception is that the ceramic brackets stain, this is false.

✨ Aligners - These are a clear, removable option. They are produced from a scan of your teeth, followed by a series of aligners to incrementally straighten your teeth.
