Tonight! ✯ BACK POCKET ✯ are back at The Grace Darling with their new single, ‘Kebub.’ Launching the track with friends Adored and Shock Corridor, the evening promises exactly the kind of escalating debauchery that the track itself explores.

Back Pocket are a four-piece rock band from Melbourne. Having begun as the humble guitar-and-vocals-only project of songwriters Sophie Dickinson and Anna Stewart, Back Pocket found it’s stride in 2022, playing gigs with Jeremy Power and Matthew McNamara serving in the band’s new rhythm section. Coupling self-conscious lyrics with self-indulgent solos, the band found their sound somewhere in the international waters between dolerock, riot grrrl and new wave. Now, after a brief hibernation, Back Pocket are back! With new additions Lincoln Healy and Ali O’Sullivan, Back Pocket are returning to their regular haunts.

Just announced! Revered Naarm/Melbourne three-piece, Acopia, launch their self-titled sophomore album, ‘Acopia’ at The Grace Darling Hotel.

Acopia is the collaborative project comprised of musicians Kate Durman (Purient), Lachlan McGeehan (Liluzu), and Morgan Wright (DSM-V, Mittens).

With a local following that resonates deeply with their transcendent, atmospheric sound, Acopia’s productions traverse the sonic worlds of downtempo and trip-hop, meticulously weaved together by a raw simplicity reminiscent of the post-punk sound.
