Congratulations to Isabel for achieving their Full Teachers Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching!

In Victoria, teachers are provisionally registered for 2 years after graduating with their teaching degree. As part of their pathway to becoming a fully registered teacher, they are required to demonstrate that they meet all 7 Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the proficient level.

As you can imagine, much time and effort goes into the development of the necessary skills and knowledge to be considered a ‘proficient’ teacher.

We are very proud of the work you have done, Isabel, to achieve your full registration. Our children are only going to benefit from your passion and dedication to quality education. Please join us in congratulating Isabel!

Kinder Information Series

Dear families,
I will be sharing some important Kinder information with you in the coming days in a series of posts. Please read these carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions.

✔ Please note that Goodstart Croydon South has both 3 & 4 year old Kinder run by University qualified Early Childhood Teachers and supporting Diploma qualified staff. We are a Kindergarten integrated into long day care means we run our Kinder for longer hours and each day of the week from 830am-5pm.

✔ I will also be sharing information about Kinder funding, how it is utilized and our plans for next year. I will be sharing the Kinder fee information with you too based on what we know until now according to our sources from the Government.
