“With over 12 years of dedicated experience, my passion lies in nurturing young minds through the world of music. Specializing in music theory, electric and acoustic guitar, and solfeggio, I’ve had the joy of teaching children as young as 4 years old. Whether in-person or online, I offer personalized one-on-one and group classes, fostering a love for music in every child I teach.

Beyond the classroom, I bring music to life through live performances spanning various styles, from pop to jazz, rock, and blues. As a composer and arranger, I craft original pieces and create backing tracks tailored to my students’ needs, utilizing software like Cubase, Studio One, Guitar Pro and Sibelius.

For me, the true reward lies in witnessing the joy and growth of my students. My passion is inspiring young minds, igniting their passion for music. Every moment spent with them is infused with magic. Music isn’t just about notes—it’s about spreading smiles. At last, I should add that teaching music isn’t just a job to me; it’s the very essence of my existence, a passion that flows through every beat of my life’s rhythm.”

I’ve been teaching at .minds_ for three years now and I’ve never been more certain I am on the right career path with the right people than I am right now!

My days are filled with music, singing, creating, playing, dancing, laughing and learning. As well as making meaningful connections with the wonderfully diverse people in my community.

My roll as Music Coordinator at Musical Minds has given me the ability to support my creative practice as a musician and performer while remaining deeply connected to music everyday.

Nothing has felt more rewarding in my 20 year career than the satisfaction I get from nurturing a love of music and creativity in students as young as three weeks old and I feel like my work has just begun. . Of course none of this would be possible without the vision, guidance and expertise of my boss, mentor and dear friend Tanya to whom I will be forever grateful for this opportunity.

An enormous thank you to Tanya’s husband and my dear friend Liam for all the essential work he does behind the scenes. And to the team I’m so privileged to work with, you are all such brilliant teachers and musicians working hard to inspire the next generation of music makers and I thank you for all your support.

Teacher Eilish teaching children how to read ‘ta’ and ‘ti-ti’ (crotchet/long & quaver/short) rhythms. We learn to read and comprehend written music through structured play and construction. Learning in the child natural environment in an encouraging approach leads to life long music skills, logic and problem solving and an appreciation of music.

Explore a range of instruments in a small group setting, discover what instrument you may wish to learn, build on your musical reading skills and develop your understanding of the elements of music.

Music is to be shared and explored in an encouraging environment with others. Small groups are a great place to start music lessons, allowing children to learn in a low pressure surroundings with their peers.

Classes are lead by our senior teachers, who are experienced teachers plus have also spent years as full-time, professional musicians. These classes are designed for children to participate independently. Parents are encourage to stay for classes, particularly while their child gets comfortable in the new environment.
