WynActive is looking for Casual Lifeguards. Qualified and or experienced applicants are preferred, however, we encourage those who are willing to obtain the necessary qualifications in the very near future, to also apply. We will provide excellent induction and training to the job requirements.

Werribee Outdoor Pool closes for the season

Our beloved Werribee Outdoor Pool is set to close its gates for the end of the season this April 14, marking another year of providing the community with a refreshing escape during the hot summer months.

The closure marks the end of an eventful season, filled with laughter, joy, and the creation of countless memories. It's always bittersweet when we close for the season, we're proud to have been a place where families and friends could come together to cool off and have fun.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next season.

Also, cultural performance from the globe, dances, the World Kitchen (with free tastings!), circus, arts workshops, stalls, food vans and face painting. As part of our ongoing presentation titled 'Werribee Outdoor Pool over the years,' we are collaborating with the Werribee Museum and Historical Society to gather vintage photographs and memorabilia that highlight the history of our beloved Werribee Outdoor Pool. These collected items will contribute to the creation of a visual display for everyone to enjoy and reminisce about.

As a member of the Werribee Swimming Club, Wendy participated in the inaugural swimming carnival.

Her father captured the event on film, and Wendy still possesses a copy of the program, making it a cherished and remarkable memory to hold onto!

•Toys (select a gift tag from the tree and return the gift tag for accurate distribution)

All donations will be directed to our contacts at Bolton Clarke and cohealth, partners of the Health, Housing, and Homelessness (H3) Alliance, working tirelessly to assist those in need within our community.

To add a personal touch, our support workers suggest including an anonymous message of encouragement for the gift recipient. Come together with us to spread holiday joy and kindness this season.

This website empowers individuals with disabilities, parents, carers, and support workers to make informed decisions before arriving at Werribee Outdoor Pool. The websites include features such as visual stories and sensory guides, access guides, imagery of the venue, meaningful alt text, keyword sign boards, and communication boards.

The Cérge Companion App serves as a personal disability and mental health advocate in your pocket. It allows individuals with disabilities, support workers, carers, and parents to notify the Werribee Outdoor Pool team of their arrival ahead of time.
