Weather ⛅️Mother nature provided us with frosty start to the day as we welcomed the first day of winter with party cloudy conditions and a light breeze off the lake this morning but the rain kept at bay allowing for perfect conditions for our pacers to support runners to bring home some PB’s.

Participants🏃‍♂️174 runners took to the starting line, 10 of these first timers to Berwick Springs and a shout out to the 5 names below who were pulling on the runners on this winters morning for their very first parkrun. We hope to see you back next Saturday 👟👟

171 Souls braved a foggy morning to start their Parkrun day. Chelsea our RD this morning welcomed one and all on behalf of Berwick Springs Parkrun to event # 494.

A significant achievement by Jo Riley and Jo Martin from our R2R crew. They completed their run down under covering 14080 Km over many years of hard work. The smiles and the support from R2R were a joy to watch, glad you choose Berwick Springs to finish your last few ks and celebrate.

We also had some of our regulars participate in a few events last weekend including the Great Ocean Road, doing the 23K or the 45K. If that wasn't enough, our first time briefer today David C ran the UTA last weekend across 3 days covering 83 KMs over 4000 m elevation. Well done everyone.

Huge round of applause to all our volunteers this morning, we appreciate your help to keep Parkrun going every week. It is rewarding to wear the red vest.

Weather ⛅️ Mother nature provided us with an eerie greyness this morning. The breeze off the lake and cold cloudy conditions, chilled us with temp of 9 degrees leaving individual pondering if they should rug up with the long sleeves or stay under the covers at home for a sleep in 😴

Welcome to the 50 bandwagon Megan and Dave!

Megan Pauwels has completed 46 runs at Berwick Springs and toured the remaining 4 across Jells, Philly Island, Salisbury, and Traralgon. Megan began the parkrun journey in 2015 and has capped a PB of 24:13 across the time, well done!

Congrats Dave Rode on todays milestone ! Dave began parkrunning in 2014 and has visited 3 other parkruns across the years.

It is no surprise we wouldn’t have such a successful event without the amazing volunteers. We have some gaps on the roster in the forthcoming weeks, so if you find yourself wanting to do something fun to start off your weekend, make sure to sign up.
