Final Pre-Season Training Session tonight before to the Christmas break. Men's teams at Brighton Secondary College; Women's at Castlefield. All new & existing players welcome & encouraged to get along! Then on Wednesday from 6pm at the Hampton RSL, we'll wrap up the year with Drinks, BBQ, Barefoot Bowls and a visit from Santa. All players and supporters welcome!

The 2024 VAFA Premier C Fixture has been released! The Rovers will open the season with three consecutive home games, with Oakleigh, Parkdale & Monash first up. All home games listed as 'TBC' due to the Boss James Reserve redevelopment with venues to be confirmed in the new year. View the full fixture on the VAFA website. Congratulations to Hampton Rovers player Archie Roberts - picked up at number 54 by the Essendon Football Club. Archie earned All Australian honours this year, playing for Vic Metro. He becomes the 9th Rovers player on an AFL list in 2024!

UPDATE: For the next two weeks, Men's Pre-Season Training will be held Tuesday's & Thursday's (due to venue availability). It'll then revert to Monday's & Wednesday's from Dec 4. Women's Pre-Season starts tonight at Castlefield Reserve. And don't forget, the AGM is on tonight at the Hampton RSL.

Pre-Season Training for our Senior Men's teams (including Under 19's) begins tomorrow and continues each Monday & Wednesday - 6:30pm @ Brighton Secondary College.

Senior Women's Pre-Season Training starts next week - Monday's & Thursday's @ Castlefield Reserve.

2024 Pre-Season Training under new senior coach Marty Pask kicks-off Monday 13 November with a Players Meeting at the Hampton RSL (6pm). Sessions will be held each Monday & Wednesday through until December 20. Venue arrangements are currently being finalised and will be announced soon! Liam O’Driscoll has claimed his first Bob Cave Medal, winning the 2023 Rovers Best & Fairest ahead of Christian Carnovale. Jasmina Andros and Poppy Ward were joint-winners in the Senior Women’s, while Will Cowie took out the Ressies and Kai Carrigan the U19s. Jack Campion won the Thirds B&F.

If you've driven past Boss James Reserve lately, you may have noticed some activity near the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion. The long-awaited redevelopment is about to get underway, with works expected to commence in October.

These works will improve facilities at the home of the Hampton Rovers FC, ensuring the Boss remains as one of the leading sports facilities in the Bayside area.

Congratulations to our skipper & Big V Rep Christian Carnovale (Prem C - 17 votes) and sharpshooter Charles Kilburn (U19 Div 1) who were runners-up in their respective VAFA Best & Fairest's for the 2023 season. Charlies was also the leading goal kicker in the section. Also in the top 10 was Liam O'Driscoll (6th in Prem C - 11 votes) and Tom Ellinghaus (6th in U19 - 11 votes). Great seasons by all!
