COMMUNITY DAY
Charity Fundraiser!
It's a fun day filled with activities and fun to raise much needed funds for those that really need it.
We're rallying together as a club and as a community to make this happen.
For some of us the world gets turned up-side-down when our child one day gets diagnosed with cancer. It's something no one ever needs to or wants to go through. You suddenly forget about all of your other worries and you then just have one, to make sure your child gets better.
Unfortunately the world can be a tough place made a lot better with My Room. This organisation is a volunteer led organisation, working together to support patients and families affected by cancer, without bureaucracy.
Let's chip in a morning coffee to start with and then see you on the community day to see how this wonderful organisation has helped people in need.

👏 VOLUNTEER APRECIATION POST 👏
Introducing, Ms. Sarah McGlone.
Albeit, Sarah needs little to no introduction to our Lyndale members.
Daughter to Stephen and granddaughter to Ronnie McGlone, Sarah spent her youth serving members from the canteen, running away from the bin lady with Scott Fox, or watching her dad and grandad play from the balcony. 20 years on, and she's still the first out there on a saturday, cheering on fiance James 🫶
Sarah's early football career started as a junior at Casey Panthers. Her impressive skills lead her advancement to Berwick where she found herself playing State 2 for a few years before promotion to state 1.
Unfortunately, shortly after, Sarah sustained an ACL injury which ended her career. Although she was left off the field after her injury it only strengthened her passion and love for the sport. After many years in retirement, Sarah joined our first senior female team this year, and appropriately scored the very first goal ⚽️
Sarah joined the committee this year (events delegate) as she feels her heart is, and always has been, at Lyndale United.
She is a force of a woman when it comes to communication and has an intense understanding of the game, our club and our community.
You won't ever find Sarah without a smile. Sarah is the person who will sit bedside in emergency with an injured player until 2am to make sure they feel loved and supported. Sarah McGlone symbolises a huge part of what we love about Lyndale United, and we appreciate her beyond measure!
Queen.
