A day filled with Kimochi’s
Today our staff had the most amazing training that extended and challenged our knowledge and skills in helping to support children in recognising and managing their own emotions.
We look forward to implementing all of our new knowledge into our everyday practice.
We know children will love eventually meeting all the Kimochi characters that will help build awareness and understanding

Recently our kindergarten went through the rating and assessment process with the Department of education and training.
We were assessed against the seven national quality areas and were so super proud that we we were awarded the rating of EXCEEDING.

Today our staff attended 2 professional development sessions “Hey Little Warrior” and “a developing brain”. The focus of these sessions was anxiety in children and the affects on a developing brain.
Whilst our educators may be a little tired tonight from such a massive day of learning, today was extremely inspiring and skill developing and we can’t wait to put all our knowledge into action at kinder.

Woodbine Road Preschool has been preparing the young children of Cranbourne North and surrounding areas for school for over 20 years.
Officially opening it’s doors on Saturday 11th May 1991, Woodbine fast became one of the busiest preschools within the City of Casey.
From it’s conception, Woodbine Road Preschool has been managed by dedicated teams of volunteers (being parents of attending children), who form a committee to manage the day to day running of the centre.
On the 27th of February 2000, due to the amount of enrolments, Woodbine was extended and converted into a dual room centre with a large community room and Maternal Child and Health centre.
Woodbine Road Preschool is one of the last stand alone Kinders in the City of Casey and we are very proud of this.
Come and visit Woodbine and see for yourself how exciting and fun our centre is.
