We’re fostering a lifelong love for reading, one story at a time! 📖❤️
Our children delved into the rich symbolism of the Aboriginal flag. Through engaging conversations and creative art, they are building a deeper understanding and appreciation of its meaning and significance. Proud to see their curiosity and respect grow!
We were so lucky to have Body Safety Australia out this week to complete the body safety program with all our kinder children, educators and families we all had some heart take always.
We were so lucky to have Luke Edward’s a local Aboriginal man join us today to teach us about his culture and show us some of the amazing traditional pieces that he brought to share like the possum skin, boomerang, didgeridoo and so much more.

Thanks to all our wonderful families who turned out today for afternoon tea with the children. I hope you all had a great afternoon!❤️❤️ ❤️
Exploring Creativity with Clay at Goodstart Early Learning- Jindi! At Jindi our kindergarten children are diving into the wonderful world of clay! When we hand them this versatile material, we’re not just giving them a fun activity; we’re providing an opportunity for them to develop essential skills and express their creativity. Fine Motor Skills: As children shape, roll, and manipulate clay, they’re building strength and coordination in their hands and fingers—skills that are crucial for writing and other tasks. Creativity & Imagination: Clay is a blank canvas for young minds. Watching them turn a lump of clay into animals, imaginary creatures, or even abstract shapes is an amazing insight into their creativity. Problem-Solving & Planning: Creating with clay encourages children to think about the steps needed to bring their ideas to life. If something doesn’t turn out as expected, they learn to adapt and find solutions. Collaboration & Communication: Working with clay often becomes a social activity, where kids share tools, discuss ideas, and work together on projects. This fosters teamwork and communication skills. At the end of the day, it’s not just about what they create, but the journey they take to get there. We’re thrilled to see our young learners explore, experiment, and have fun with clay. Can’t wait to share more of their amazing creations with you! Stay tuned! ✨
