Welcome to UWA's online creative arts journal. Trove is an online interactive creative arts journal created for, by and with students.
It supports and nurtures, and provides ongoing feedback to, beginning, developing and emerging creative arts students in a university context. Trove aims to offer students opportunities to present their work for an online publication. We are proud to announce the release of our Online Special Issue 3, 'Westerly: Crossings', edited by Amy Hilhorst and Owen Bullock!
This issue showcases a collection of postgraduate work by students fromThe University of Western Australia, and the IPSI - International Poetry Studies Institute, based at the University of Canberra.
The selected stories, poems and essays are linked by subtle themes such as the combination of questions and answers, certainty and uncertainty, and loss and discovery.
We hope this issue offers an entertaining celebration of the strength of our emerging, home-grown talent as well an exciting glimpse into the future of the Australian literary scene.

Great opportunity for emerging poets!
Amy Hilhorst is holding a poetry workshop at Centre for Stories on April 18 at 6pm. These workshops are aimed at page poets who consider themselves to be emerging. This will be a collaborative opportunity to share your work in progress!
Amy is a Perth poet and researcher whose work has been published in Writ, Verity La, Axon, Cordite, and Westerly. She is also a guest editor of our upcoming Online Special Issue, 'Crossings', due for release April 2017.

We're so excited to announce that Trove will now be known as Tenderfoot! We hope this name change will reflect our dedication to support emerging creatives and celebrate the work students and recent graduates have to offer.
Our page name will be changed shortly (after a couple administrational hoops have been jumped) but we wanted to let you all know about this exciting change!
