Dear Lord,

We come before you today with hearts lifted in prayer for our government leaders. We ask for Your wisdom to guide them in their decisions so that they may lead with integrity, compassion, and justice. Grant them discernment to uphold what is right and just for all people.

In Your Word, you have reminded us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2:
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

May this scripture be an encouragement and a reminder of our duty to lift our leaders in prayer. Bless them with courage to stand firm in times of challenge, and humility to seek Your will above all else.

🏠 Housing prices are skyrocketing in WA. Land release is slow, red tape is excessive, and prohibitively high stamp duty further strains buyers' purchasing power. Unsustainable immigration adds to the problem.

Australian Christians want to reconsider the stamp duty framework and give Aussie citizens an advantage in the housing market by examining the foreign buyer surcharge.

We're reluctant to force Western Australians into smaller homes. Spare bedrooms are essential for home offices, playrooms, guest bedrooms, and more. Let's make it easier for families to thrive with the space they need.

As Christians, one of our most important missions is to support the family. But how are young people going to fare in developing a family when property prices keep them out of the market?

Property and rent have already begun to skyrocket in our State. We must reverse this trend.

There is a lot that can be done, but to start, we must rethink stamp duty policy altogether and increase the foreign buyer surcharge to give Aussies a competitive advantage.

The UK Labour Government, despite being proponents of gender ideology with a PM who claims he cannot define the word "woman", has the basic common sense to follow through with the previous Conservative Government's ban on child gender experiments.

This common sense is sadly lacking in the WA Labor Government. Weeks after our initial call to ban puberty blockers for minors, WA Liberal Leader Libby Mettam announced she'd do the same, and was denounced by WA Labor's Health Minister as an extremist for doing so.

This election, there is only one Party that you can trust to fight radical gender ideology in WA - The Australian Christians.

If a group of pro-life Christians illegally climbed Parliament House and hung Christian signs off the side of the building, is there any doubt in anyone's mind that the mainstream media would label them dangerous extremists?

Seems like Labor treats leftist anti-Israel protestors with child gloves.

In WA, pro-life doctors are currently forced to refer women to abortionists, which is a clear infringement on freedom of conscience. Doctors who rightly believe that abortion is murder are being compelled to recommend a procedure that goes against their deepest moral convictions.

The Australian Christians are committed to ending this unjust practice. We stand with pro-life doctors and believe no one should be forced to act against their conscience and their religion.

Nearly 100,000 Australians get divorced each year, with even more family breakups not counted in official stats!

During Covid, divorces spiked due to stress from financial problems and remote schooling. Divorce leads to serious issues like crime, depression, and poverty, costing over $40 billion annually.

More than ever, Australian Christians are committed to supporting and protecting families. We advocate for strong laws, recognising the vital role of families in nurturing future generations. We also support mandatory mediation to help parents and children through tough times.
