The 2023 I4C Executive Team (Daniel Gu, Irene Liu, Amelia Chen, Ojas Patwardhan, Corwin Tey, Jiawei Luo, Eric Su and Danny Kim)
Last Tuesday, 8th of August marked the conclusion of our TA Program for Term 2 with the UNSW I4C Trainee Analyst Case Competition Final. The participating teams were tasked with a buy recommendation stock pitch from 6 ASX listed stocks, with 4 teams making the final.
We’d like to congratulate our winning team Seven Capital (Lawrence D’Mello, Norman Huang, Mervyn Wang, Jesslyn Suwandji) as well as our runners up Evedal Capital (Lik Seng Yu, Ike Matsuoka) for their excellent performances. We’d also like to give an honourable mention to the other two finalist teams Apex Capital (Rana Singh, Grace Tse, Jolin Ye) and Summit Capital (Dylan Ung, Wendy Lee, Andrew Joseph, Justin Hiew) for their participation. It was a highly competitive night overall with excellent presentations and models on show for our student audience and our industry judges.
Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude for our program sponsors and attending judges Jackson Lee (Insignia Financial) and Jon Goh (MLC Asset Management), for taking the time out to attend the final and the continued support.
Once again, congratulations to the teams for their excellent presentations as well as to all other participants for their efforts this term. We hope the program helped increase your technical and soft skills, as well as your understandings of corporate finance, and our Education team wishes you all the best of luck for the future.

We are UNSW’s only philanthropy-driven finance society that strives to promote the importance of socially impactful business activities by providing student development opportunities within areas of finance and social impact/non profit. At UNSW, we run financial educational programs like the Trainee Analyst Program, information panels and case competitions to develop skilled professionals who are personally committed to making an active and sustained contribution to their organisations and the society at large. We also hold social events to bring like-minded students together and have fun.
We instill our core I4C values of professional integrity, rigour, knowledge and compassion in our members. In doing so, we aspire to attract driven individuals who share a passion to promote altruism.
