Lucas is an active member of the Sydney dance community who made his start learning from Stale Biskitz and other established local crews. He has traveled to enrich his dance experience through participating in events and learning from renowned teachers around the world. He now proudly represents his crew who aspire to show the PUMP and their unconditional love for dance.

Thank you to the UTS for inviting me to judge G.O.D. This event in general holds some special memories for me, as I also participated in this event in the years I studied at UTS. Anyway, I've danced for around 10 years and I've dabbled in various dance styles but mainly dance as a bboy. I'm part of MuSe, Technical Difficulty and 143 LSF. I hope everyone has fun and has a great time.

GAME OF DEATH VOLUME 8 IS HERE

FORMAT

Each dance society will choose 5 of their best members to represent them in this battle.

In defense of UTS Tower, each uni team will battle against a selection of UTSHHS members of increasing difficulty in a Tower of God format, by ascending through a series of 3 levels consisting of:

Level 1: Five Guardians
Level 2: Three Rulers
Level 3: The Final Boss

This will be engaged through a 1v1 battle. The judges decide if the challenger is worthy to ascend to the next level or else, eliminated. If the Final Boss is slain, the team wins the Game of Death. This process repeats until each challenger has either won or been eliminated.

In the case of two or more societies passing level 3, a tiebreaker will be held to determine the winner.

To keep everyone upbeat and dancing through the night we have Arisse on the decks💿

Arisse (She/They) is a DJ, Dancer, Event Producer and Community Leader. She has been dancing for over 15 years including a variety of Street Dance Styles, but her focus on Hip Hop Freestyle. She is a resident DJ at dance battle events such as Ladies Night, Hip Hop Showdown and Waack Your Way, and is one of the Co-Directors of Destructive Steps, Australia’s Largest Street Dance Festival. Outside of DJing, she is the President of DSDA Inc, a non-profit organisation that runs programs and workshops for the youth and young adults, and works closely with councils and organisations to curate events.

GET READY FOR THE MIGHTY DUCK 🦆

Repping Vanguards of Style, Real Art Work and Musicality is S*x. Mighty Duck has been breaking since ‘06, has competed all around Australia and has represented Australia numerous times around the world.

He is known for his explosive moves, musicality and flow.

Recently, he was a judge for the 2023 Destructive Steps B-Boy 1v1 and the B-Girl 1v1. In Melbourne, he judged Toast or Be Toasted vol 3 and ‘Til Death Do We Cypher.

As a battler, earlier this year he placed 2nd in the 2024 ABA Battle series. He is also now part of the QMS Australian Team representing our country at Shanghai and Budapest for the 2024 Olympic Qualifiers in the next few months.

Beverley has her core foundation in Popping, but has extended her reach into Hiphop and Breaking. On a never-ending journey in dance to explore movement, self-discovery and expression she often dabbles in other dance styles and actively attends local events. Her desire to challenge herself often leads to frequenting battles both locally and internationally.
