With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Groovy Tuesday's Bistro as they close their doors after many years of being a cherished part of our community. We are immensely grateful for their unwavering support over the years, especially in helping us spread cheer during the holiday season. Thank you, Groovy Tuesday's, for your dedication to making a difference in our community through your various charitable initiatives. Your legacy of generosity will be remembered fondly. Wishing the staff all the best in their future endeavors.❤️

With your support, we were able to help over 1750 families in Barrie, Innisfil, Angus, Oro-Medonte and surrounding area have an amazing Christmas morning. We would like to say a special heartfelt THANK YOU to the 1200+ incredible volunteers, the amazing corporate sponsors, local businesses our unbelievable media partners, the Christmas Cheer board of directors who demonstrate so much passion in their roles and everyone who was able to showcase their generosity with food, toys and cash donations this year. We are so incredibly blessed to have the support of the community each and every year. Down to the final hour, we were able to raise $400,000. This money is so crucial to our success, and we can't thank everyone enough for all of their efforts. 🎉🏆 Today, we had the opportunity to attend The Kempenfelt Cup - the highly anticipated hockey tournament and display of school spirit! A HUGE thank to all the participating Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) high schools and sponsors for helping them raise an impressive $18,000 for Christmas Cheer!! Our applications have increased more than ever before, and to be able to fill our food and toy hampers, we will need to shop for some specific items to meet our needs. We ask for monetary donations because we're able to make every dollar stretch much further than the general public can, with our bulk buying power and strong relationships with food and toy vendors.
