Before the overnight MS Can't Stop Conference, there is a one-day conference for people with MS, their caregivers and the larger MS community. Gather information and resources from exhibition hall following registration, be inspired by the keynote speaker mid-morning, and connect with others in the MS community over lunch. In the afternoon, two session streams will be available. One geared toward care-givers, and the other geared toward individuals living with MS.

Are you living near the Waterloo region? The MS Society is hosting an event (MS Can't Stop Me) for people between the ages of 18-26 who either live with MS or who have a family member with MS to share and collaborate with their MS peers.
The event is happening October 24th and 25th at the Holiday Inn Kitchener-Waterloo Conference Centre. All costs for this event, including Saturday night accommodation at the Holiday Inn, will be covered by the MS Society of Canada. You may also be eligible for a travel subsidy. One of the paddlers for “MS Paddles for a Cure”, Thomas, is doing his own Dress for MS again to raise funds for the dragon boat team in support of the Simcoe County Chapter of the MS Society.
Thomas will do a draw and mow the lawn of a winner within 100 km of Barrie -- in a dress no less! And he will bring his own lawn mower to your home. Winner will be drawn on August 22nd, 2015.
Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.

To anyone in the Orillia area of any age, there is an Orillia Support Group that meets twice a month to chat from 1-3pm. Sometimes there are exercises or special guests talking about different treatments for MS, such as reflexology, acupuncture..etc. There is a group you can join on facebook called Orillia MSers that is looking for more members!
